We are sorry the web page is giving you problems.

Having problems with the PDF files
- or-
You can't see the link for the next month?

Please read through the items below to help you figure out what is wrong.

If your page has not updated from last month:

If you are an AOL user and you are getting to the page from an AOL favorites try manually entering the adress: http://applewd.com/BOM/page1.html

If that does not work try using Internet Explorer (IE) to access the page. AOL may not be updating as it should. You can then save the page back to AOL.

If you are using IE go to the "Tools" pull down menu and select "Internet Options".

You should get a window called Internet Options. Under the "General" tab - Near the middle of the window you should see a section called "Temporary Internet Files".

There should be a button called "Settings". Click that and make sure it is set to check for newer versions of stored pages every time you start IE - or - every visit to the page.

Try the "refresh" again.

Problems with PDF files:

PDF files are used to re-create pages in screen or in print in their original format. They work properly on 99% of computers 99% of the time. To view them you need Adobe Reader that is compatible with your computer.

If you have an older system, the latest Adobe Reader may not be compatible with your computer. For example, Adobe Reader version 7 is for Win XP will not always work properly on a Windows 98 system (version 6 is for Windows 98). Another version is for Vista and Macs have still another version.

Please go to this link: Adobe.com and make sure you have the right Adobe Reader for your computer. If you have to install a the proper version, un-install the one you have first.

To find out what version of Adobe Reader you have; Open your Adobe Reader and select "Help" and then"About". It will tell you what version it is. To see what kind of Windows you have right ckick on "My Computer and select "Properties". The go to the Adobe website above to see if your Windows and your Adobe will play well together.

Firewalls
You may have a firewall that is blocking the file. Try temporally turning off your firewall (remember to turn it back on again).

If you get a blank page with a little "X" in the corner or some other strange error message when it trys to load on your screen:
Open your Adobe Reader directly from the start menu.
Go to "Edit" & "Preferences".
Select "Internet" from the Categories list.
Uncheck the box "Display PDF in browser. and click "OK". Your computer will probably want to reboot. After this is done try to open the Block from the web page again.

If it still does not work or if this was already done - or-
If you can see the text but some of the graphics are missing or incomplete:

From the BOM home page, right click on the current block link ("February Block", "March Block" etc.). From the pop up window select "Save Target As". Save the file to someplace you can find it again such as "My Documents" or your desktop with a new name. Then close the browser and try to open the file directly on you computer.

If the file looks good on screen BUT does not print properly or gives your error messages during printing:
With the document open on screen in Adobe Reader - go to "File", "Print", "Advanced". Select "Print as Image". This is not a normal printing mode and is slower but it can help resolve printing problems.

NETSCAPE / Firefox Users / MAC Users:
Try saving the file to your computer before opening it (see above).
Try using IE (just this once!):
